Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga: is a branch of yoga that aims to build strength and confidence, improve flexibility, balance and a sense of contentment.

The pace of life is fast and demanding. It's easy to get lost in the outer world. When we make yoga a part of our lives, we learn to come back to ourselves and explore our inner world through stretching, deep relaxation and meditation. The ultimate purpose of yoga is the inner journey unique to each of us, a feeling of freedom that starts from within. Yoga means union, harmony and balance, which brings stillness to the mind and health and vitality to the body. Through the practice of Hatha yoga, we can bring healing into our lives by re-balancing the nervous system. This balance is what we can achieve both within ourselves and our relationship with the world around us through postures (asanas), breathing (pranayana), and meditation (dhyana).

With emphasis on breath, flexibility and alignment, this practice allows students to revitalize both physically and mentally. Influenced by the anusara philosophy, these classes uniquely blend the spirit of the heart with precise alignment principles; enhancing vitality, cultivating balance and calming the mind. A beautiful way to alleviate stress, creating a wholeness through deep restoration.
