Hatha Yoga (Beginners):
Beginner's Hatha yoga will introduce you to the foundation of your yoga practice, exploring
breath work, postures and meditation. This type of yoga is recommended for beginner's, with more experienced students also
welcomed.
Hatha Yoga (Intermediate):
With intermediate yoga, you will be heightening your Hatha practice while strengthening your
connection to self, as you learn to work more deeply with familiar postures (as well as new ones) and breathing practices.
Kundalini Yoga:
Kundalini yoga, meaning "awareness", is a powerful style of yoga involving prayanana (breathe
control), asanas (physical practice), chanting and meditation. This style fo practice builds strength, flexability, and is
designed to work the entire nervous system to help keep disease and health issues away. The poses are devised to stimulate
organs, develop a healthy body, emotional balance and bring about enlightenment.
Gentle Restorative Yoga:
This level of Hatha Yoga is a therapeutic class using gentle mind/body exercises to allow
you to experience the many healing benefits of yoga. This practice is approached with softness and inner awareness to bring
blance between strength, flexability and relaxation. During your restorative yoga class, you may choose to use various props
in various poses to achieve a deeper release.
Hatha/Kunda Yoga Kids:
Children awaken their creativity through poses using imagination and play. They will go through
all stages of a yoga session beginning with warm-ups, sun-salutations, seated and standing postures, a series of yogic games
and partner's yoga, finishing with relaxation and meditation. Yoga controls and soothes emotions, removing anxiety through
stretching and breathing. It improves self esteem, self confidance and self acceptance.
Yoga teaches balance of mind, body and spirit. Poses strengthen and tone the physical body
while breathing and relaxation techniques encourage peace of mind and inner balance.
