One aspect of life is Bhakti; Bhakti is worship, devotion. Another is Shakti; Shakti means power. God gave you a combination of Bhakti and Shakti, devotion and existence.

Sandra has been practicing yoga and meditation for 16 years and has spent the years integrating the benefits of a regular practice into a deeper more meaningful way of life. While on retreat at an ashram Sandra decided to deepen her yoga practice yet again by completing her teaching certification in Hatha Yoga. Sandra believes in the deeply personal power of yoga to transform your body and mind as experienced through her own yoga journey.

She is passionate about yoga philosophy and sharing the joys of yoga with her students by encouraging the exploration of self through asanas, breath, and meditation

Melissa Haribir Kaur Duncan

Melissa “Haribir Kaur” Duncan has been exploring the diverse practice of Yoga for many years, but as the Universe would have it, one day about 3 years ago she had an experience that would forever shape the tapestry of her life. This experience was unlike any other; it was an experience of something unknown that felt like home. It was an experience of challenge and compassion, resistance and surrender, strength and beauty, trust and above all Truth. This experience…was Kundalini Yoga & Meditation.

In November 2008, with the support and encouragement of her Divine & beloved teacher Devi Kirn Kaur, Melissa received her Kundalini Yoga Teacher certification and was later gifted with the spiritual name of Haribir Kaur (Spiritual Warrior). Melissa continues to expand and grow through weekly classes in both Hatha and Kundalini Yoga.

In addition to Yoga, Melissa is passionate about dance and movement. For many years she has been enjoying and exploring the power and beauty of Woman through the ancient art of Bellydance and has been expressing the rhythm of her authentic self through Ecstatic Dance.

Through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and Ecstatic Movement it is her hope and intention to inspire others to seek truth within themselves and each other, to embody their own ecstatic presence and to realize and manifest their Divine human potential.

“Not only do you have the potential to do anything, but you must first realize this potential.” ~ Yogi Bhajan, PhD, Master of Kundalini Yoga

“Your deepest presence is in every small contracting and expanding, the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated as bird wings.” ~ Rumi
